I can smell that fish meal from the Isle of Man Larry. I think the brand name was “Provimi 66” or summat like it.

Chris

Aye you are right I have loaded the bagged stuff lots of times in the 60/70s, But this time I was delivering spratts landed at North Shields Union Quay, I also ran them to Grimsby & up to Frazerbrough, a good earner but seasonal Nov.Dec.Jan. Regards Larry.

Hi then,Heres some Fodens for today.

Some great pictures recently -

This Foden S40 100 tonner still survives - albeit with a plastic cab…

http://www.classictracksandtrucks.co.uk/Daves%20folder/news/Foden%20100%20tonne%2019.6.11%20004.jpg

IIRC a replacement Motor Panels cab has been sourced for it and it will go back to original spec.

Hello again,heres some ERFs today.

Cheers Bubbs,

have to agree with you the pages and pics have been wrong for a long time now with some of the pics you have to right click and select view image to see the right hand side of the pic, whats happening on here I think it started when they had the orange pages and when they went back to the present set up it all went pear shaped, standards have dropped we might even have to go to a bus web site god forbid where are the people who are supposed to look after this site pull your finger out lads or heads could roll :imp: fredm

I don’t know the technicalities but usually this happens because
someone has posted an oversize picture.

Text can be made easier to read till it’s sorted by using short
lines, like this.

Can’t we find a spotty nerd or a 9 year old to apply some sort of automatic picture
sizer so that us poor old drivers don’t have to think too much,

Hello again,I’m sorry to hear that some of the pics are too big,I’m not doing anything any different than normal…only one photo is big for me and thats the Foden at the top of this page

Cheers Bubbs,

Hi everbody, looks like the Crows Foden (ex Olivers) is in Dave Weedons care. I know he will make a good job of restoring it, and aparently he has obtained an S40 cab for it well done Dave.
I look forward to seeing the finished article.
