Yes, and both Turner pictures images were taken by Arthur Ingram on 9th October 1964. The location - Silvertown Way.

Dave, is that last picture taken in a village called Turnastone?

Stanfield:
Another Volvo F10 of L V transport from gravesend. It could be the same truck that bubbleman has put on apart from the reg plate everything else is the same (air horns/window flags/knights heads etc)  oh and the F10 badge on the grill has been moved. 0 its got to have been the same driver.

im doing a bit of work on a family tree…

and im about 95% sure my farther was the driver of that truck

“Feathers In Our Cap” in the middle of all the flags on the dash in window is an old radiator cap Indian head

and i still have this her as my farther had this in every cap i ever went in with him with all the flags and i still have them to

Numbum,

Nice to see this brace of B Series’ of AK (Keith) Bedford from Crediton Devon.

My Dad hired a bulk tipping trailer from them when he was offered a demonstrator of the then newly released TL12 powered Leyland Roadtrain. We were doing quite a lot of work with Keith’s brother George aka ‘Geroges Haulage’ at the time.

Memories ehh!

The Indian Head,as you put it,has been lifted from Guy Warrior,I think they must be quite rare these days!

Take it easy,

David

Any chance of locations and dates for these great pics, or were such details not recorded at the time?
