Keep em going got a tear in my eye here my dad worked at cyprien fox at tower hill then got moved to chobham farm stratford they used to go all europe with them old atkis and then the clarkson group split it to Howe european Enfield and alltransport stratford wear they had 2 of those atkis a big j v6 ■■■■■■■ and a lhd 110 scania and early alltransport fridges and tilts with speedex shipping on Boyzee remembers that merc of SGH i bet
Your right mr ken the 1418 merc of sgh was one of Tel,s it had his daughters name on the front “sasha”.The trailer is one of sgh internationals kangeroo tilts, they had an office and wharehouse in wapping high street. They did unaccompanied trailers to spain and portugal,we would take them to southampton.I drove the merc now an then but like all 1418,s the brakes were only air assisted with a ratchet hand brake. It was eventually sold in px for a 111 sleeper that belong to n riley i think they were from colchester way .It was a shock seeing this a picture of this lorry after all these years. It was new in 1972 an sold around 1978.

Q,anyone know the limit of pics that can be put on photobucket?
Don’t know htte limit, I suppose there must be one, but I resize mine down to medium, as I hope this won’t take up as much space on there (allthough it tends to do strange things to photos sometimes !!)

Ant
