Hello gang, heres a few more cuttings,Cheers Bubbs,

Great pics as always Marcus  and can anybody tell me anything about that photo of the Wolpertinger Express Volvo.

Regards Steve

Hi, this was owned by Chris Turnbull, a husband and wife owner driver team, they did regular UK to Southern Germany/Austria area for Davies Turner mainly I think. I used to work for Dawsonfreight and their Volvo’s were supplied and serviced by us when they were in the UK. They always had top spec left hookers which were always spotless. I cant remember where they were based but they were a really nice couple, don’t know if they are still operating, I left Dawsons in 2000 and left the road haulage game so I’m a bit out of touch now. Here are some pics of their earlier Volvo’s.

Does any body know if any of Bulmers Bedford KMs had Detriot engines ? regards Keith .

Don’t know for sure- Dave will- but I think they had 466 Bedfords.

Probably wrong, as usual! :unamused:

Cheers Dave.
