ERGO LINE UPWould these photos be Armstrongs from Bermondsey London by any chance, ■■, Regards Larry.
They were in Old Jamaca Rd., Bermondsey if I remember correctly, and had the address signwritten on the door. Not many firms do that nowadays.
That’s right - next door to Bowker’s yard, and an arch or two along

LOADSTARThat’s brought out the memory cells again.
Was it Bradley’s of Accrington who used to run bonneted International artics in a similar colour?
I understand that Bradley, and its subsidiaries, had over 100 Internationals at one time - one of them is preserved in Bradley colours
My memory’s having something of a resurgence since I joined TNUK!

VOLVO
Bradleys of Accrington ran quite a lot of Internationals in 60s & 70s plus ERFs and Volvo bubble cabs with a few other breeds mixed in,I had the misfortune to spanner for them for a short period then.

M+S Shipping rings a bell?
It should do Harry, M.& S. shipping (Mitzi and something) if I remember correctly were two Jewish fellows in London and they were one of the biggest players of importing goods from The Commie Block. The chances were that if you reloaded behind The Iron Curtain in the 70’s or 80’s then M.& S. Shipping probably took their cut. I can’t remember seeing any of their vehicles in the 80’s though.
