The little truck is what remains of a Shelvoke and Drewery ‘Freighter’ which were used as dustcarts, parcel vans etc.

Hi Ive never seen a Pitt low loader like that one but they were built near our home so i will asak my Dad.

A load of bagged grain on this 1945 AEC Mammoth Major of David West Dunfermline. These sacks were 2cwt a time.

Here’s another Bedford QL one of Sam Longson’s who ran a number of these IIRC as tippers as well as spreaders.Charging across the Derbyshire fields after rabbits.Looks to be doing a good job.Some fine pic’s you are posting. Thanks and Regards Mike.
