Nice picture, I remember such rarities in the early 70’s, along with Unic’s, Skoda’s, Henschel’s etc
Love the Turners F7, I still see Turners trucks up our way most days although sadly not the Volvo F7.

Turners have come a long way since they were running Austins,BMCs,“S” Type Bedfords and LAD Dodges in early 60s. Had many a lift with their night trunkers from Manchester and Norwich when in RAF.
Pictured this a fair few years since, wonder if she’s still around…

Old Greek legend,
Owned by Mimis, one of the Greek pioneers in Middle East run, rumors say that it was the most powerful 141 in Greece. 6X2 started its life as 110, ended up after a fire in France. I still have its sound in my ears, straight pipe, huge turbo, 9/31 diff.
moomooland:
A few adverts taken from the 28th of December 1962 edition of Motor Transport.
Wonder if that Guy Warrier, from Worcester ,is the same company as those from Martley regards kk
Super shots and adverts from the early 60’s but it looks like that Guy 6 wheeler has been subjected to some early “air brushing” as regards the sheeting and roping Bewick.
Whats the prime mover(when was the last time you heard that) with the Prestcold trailer?
