Hi scud, with regards to the swinging loads , we had the stuff packed in that tight it hardly ever “swung” much, if it did thats was load earning space lost !And when you work it out the extra few feet can make a lot of difference. A lorry and trailer was more stable than an artic and of course gave you extra space , not everyone’s cup of tea i know but i actually preferred them personally. Biggest drawback were the “drama queens” in cold stores and such like places who were always out for a row!
just a guess but a Boss demo unit even the tyres have the name on or an export delivery.
With those Atkinsons in the back ground 240 Gardner may be able to spread some light
Cheers Rich
Another great photo bill ,if it was painted red and green it would be just like the one we had at watkinson,s and we also had a king low loader just the same, great stuff. By the way thanks for the info on the fridge trailer like you said you have to get as much space as posible thats why we fit canopy,s overt the cabs on our wool wagons, cheer,s.

You have a superb photo collection! Cheerio for now.

Evening all, Bill, well she is sitting exactly where I left her “pre Gaydon”, still on the low load trailer, and ready to go behind the Deere. Then we had that nice weather window, and we were away cutting grass. Since then everything “weather wise” has gone pear shaped, so I have not even had the time to unload her!!
Still battling with Swansea, what a morase of gunge that operation is!! I think she will just have her French registration "re-activated, it is easier, and they at least understand what old lorry enthusiasts enjoy!! Good luck, Cheerio for now.
you just find nice pic,s bill ,regards benkku
This trailer was used to transport cement from a factory in Skövde, 150 km north of Gothenburg, and oil on the return from Gothenburg. It has some similarities to the Finnish Mepa-system, but here you only transport bulk goods. The first, middle and last tanks are for oil, and the two tanks beside the spare wheel are for cement: 26 cubic meters of oil, and 22 cubic meters of cement… but not at the same time . The total weight of the vehicle is 38 tons.

Once again thanks for the info Stellan !
