Scania r480 not turning over on the key

Well the main part Si is that its up and running again,
The people in the remap game are normally spot on you always get one or two who doesn’t have much of a clue, All our trucks are remapped but I will only let one man do our trucks, and he has been doing them for us for nearly 10yrs now.
As I said earlier there is a fair few R 470 & 480 what have dicky ecu"s , one of the main causes or symptoms to these are the trucks run and cut out /engine light comes on etc, but sometimes it is just a sensor,
As a replacement ecu and sometimes a full lock and barrel change and reprogram isn’t a cheap deal,
But the R series 470 and 480"s are interchangeable on the ecu"s … but not from the 4 series ecu ! these wont fit.
the 480s we have are spot on with the remaps, as are the v8"s…all of them are better on fuel in some cases up and over 1mpg on the journeys they do,
I personally don’t think remaps cause problems unless the man with the lap top just turns everything to MAX !! and hasn’t really got a clue what he his doing…
I would love to no who did the remap on the truck I have a funny idea who may have done it but don’t really want to name the company just I case I am wrong… but Deeside area springs to mind…
