I drive 62 plate scania for a company, 2 weeks ago I reported that the only way to open the drivers door is by opening the window and pulling the outside handle, now even this won’t work and I now have to climb across the cab and use the passenger’s door, the company say they are to busy to take it of the road and there’s nothing else to drive, my question is am I breaking the law by having a door I can’t open, the company says not but they would say that wouldn’t they.
If theres a health and safety poster on the wall ,point out the phone number to the boss and ask the question ,do you think these people would know the answer? 
By the way they should display the hse poster by law! 
Does it have a flat cab floor? It would be a shame if you were to ‘injure’ yourself climbing from one side of the cab to the other.
