Scania has brought another ltd edition r series out ,they are making 200 blue streams with various v8 engines,whats betting there is a new cab design in the pipeline and they are wrapping up the old r series,they are allso doing a deal on r420 6x2 [old stobart units ]for 155quid a week ,i wonder was price tag they will put on the ltd editions ,it wont be cheap 
I’ve got a new R 450 streamline on demo for a month, I was expecting a lot from it but I’ll be glad to get my XF back !

This was nailed on with all the ltd editions that scania are bringing out,if you remember they did the same with the 3 series centurian,not long after they brought the 4 series out,way overdue

They all look the same. Very generation is the same as the last.
The blue one at Moodys looks 100 times better than those bronze colour ones (whatever they were called) that were out a month or 2 ago. They looked/look bloody awful.
I was told tonight that the Carlisle Scania dealer has one a day nearly everyday of Stobarts euro 6s for a piston or liners. It seems this euro 6 is leading to a lot of problems Daf their no 6 piston is running to hot and causing problems.
What price technology eh. Eddie.

They’re pretty low rent to be fair inside unless you pimp them up with luxury seats & the Griffen pack.
We’ve got a R480 hi liner rental in atm…fridge/freezer, coffee maker and a microwave… Seats still ■■■■tho…no armrests!
I’ve driven two R420s two Mondays running; both had their speed miscalibrated so it said it was doing 56 (and wouldn’t go any faster) when my sat-nav said it was doing 53. Fairly comfortable apart from that, better than low-end Mercs (haven’t driven any high-end ones), but not as nice to drive as an XF.
