scania 2002 260 intermittent fault splutters goes into limp mode and will not rev above 1700 rpm any ideas please

Hadthis problem on my 54 plate Scanny It turned out to be the EBS memory was full, (The orange light above the handbrake lever) causing the engine to go into limp mode . Take it to a Scania dealer and get the memory cleared of the faults ,then it should be ok :laughing: Or is the fuel filter ok?
