My old 140 that was bought new by Alfie Hutchinson from east london,When Alfie had the lorry it was on italy,s then Terry Creasey bought it and i drove it.Originally it was painted orange with blue chassis, one night comeing home down the A1 a car came across the wrong side of the road hitting the off side front. The lorry was then painted in Bleckmann colors. When SGH transport (Terry) went nap it was sold to SGH european in canning town and painted the same colors as the 111 red white an blue.

This 141 was bought new by SGH and a driver called Malcome Taylor drove it untill he had to do 3 years away for smugling tobbaco.I drove this on a few trips doing benelux trips.Later it was driven by Jimmy Todd who lived in tooting,he worked an lived in zeebrugge for awhile.

Well done for all the nice pics

Now, is it just me or does the 140 look more modern than the 141? This is just from a frontal perspective, i think it does due the 141 having round headlamps mounted higher.

Awsome, just love these old scanys. Keep em coming LB76!

Here is a picture of my old Danish Spec 141, just south of Hofuf, en-route to Doha.

those trucks are almost identical… yet the one on the right does not look as good… headboard Id say makes all the diff.

The headboard does make all the difference - i hate those hatcher things they are terrible IMHO rot your roof away and no one ever bothers to fit replacement bulbs so 90% of drivers ride about with only 2 bulbs lit and the reason no one puts bulbs in is because it is a pig of a job even if you have the right tool
