If it doesn’t have a ramp, maybe it is only carrying Grand National horses, and they can jump in. :thinking: :wink: :joy:

Do ordinary horse boxes have big windows? Or would horses be frightened by seeing traffic?

Would they be good or bad passengers?

I think I’ve seen horse boxes with small windows high up to allow light in, but not windows the animals can see out of.

I was not quite yet a driver when I saw one of the first TKs in 1960, but I knew all about lorries from BRS spotting with my Ian Allen book, so I was blown away by the difference and honestly thought it was a sleeper cab. Little did I know then that I would one day be sleeping on a shelf in the back of one. :rofl:
