Can tracker systems knock out satnav signal?
I wouldn’t have thought so. I’ve got a Navman Wireless system installed in my truck which is a combined tracker and satnav system, and never have any problems with it.
I’ve only met one person who had it happen to his, not sure how he managed to sort it. Doesn’t help you too much though!
Maybe fitting an aerial from the sat-nav to the exterior might work…?
We had this happen to 4 Mercs at my old workplace, it was satnav specific and varied due to where the satnav was put.
Some cheaper dashcam’s can interfere with GPS signals, as can some types of windscreens.

Not legally and if they are they’re breaking the law. What is more likely the case is that on modern vehicles they put metallic particles in the glass to help reduce the ability of UV and heat to pass through. Those metallic particles can interfere with radio signals and the higher the frequency, i.e GPS, the worse the effect is.
The trackers on the trailers where I work disable the trailer info module so they no longer log the mileage, abs status or axle loading, rsp, axle loading or brake value info.
They “leech” power from the memory unit to transmit their GPS info.
Dont know if this affects the abs operating system in “real time”
but always thought that the abs had to be a full stand alone system.
Old generation one systems used co axe cable to insulate the trigger signal from any outside RF interference.Seems a bit weird to put a radio transmitter into a system that operates on a tiny alternating voltage.
The tracker has to be linked into a permasnent live feed and the only options are the abs solenoids, controlers or sensing units.
anything electronic can and will interfere
with other electronic components it depends on the
level if its a nuisance
re windscreens my MAN i had at Brits wiped out the sat nav
