For northern irish anything will be fine for southern Ireland teleatlas mapping is better than navteq so sometimg lime the tomtoms would be Better if you go south abit nothing has hotgthe new motorways on yet as far as I know
Thanks guys I have been looking at the topics on the sat navs from the forum and think i will go for a TomTom anyone know which one I could get and then upload all the truck data for it example the model I would need ?

Get the tomtom go 520/530/540 ,they are the easiest to do without messing the main unit up.
You will need
4 gig sd card
western european truck map
truck navcore
fast activate
a bit of reading and job done.
