Hi all. Just got my new start date on Class 1 (delayed due to my appendix deciding to jump ship!) and am thinking I need a Sat Nav. I was going to do night trunking but that didn’t work out. Now I’m going to general haulage I presume most people are using sat navs and just don’t know what to get. Obviously all companies claim theirs to be brilliant, I’m just after a real life user who can steer me in the direction of one they would recommend?
Hi. There are several threads on sat navs on the forum both on the newbies and on the general drivers forum. People seem to prefer Tom Tom or Garmin. I haven’t used either so can’t help other than to suggest using the search feature on the forum to look for sat navs. Hope this helps you, good luck on your new career.
