Sat Nav error: "Cannot calculate the route"

I got my Garmin Sat Nav about 1 year ago, and so far it has been working fine. But just this week, every time I set one of my saved destinations, it gives me the error: “Cannot calculate the route”.

I searched online, but havent been able to find a solution. Does anybody know how to solve it ?

It happens occasionally with mine but if I ignore it it soons come to its senses and carries on as normal. I do admit though that I don’t use it for directions, just for having a useful map before me at all times.

I’m afraid that doesn’t solve my problem. It’s the wrong GPS, and I didn’t update or change anything, as it seems to be the problem in your link from 8 years ago.

Try updating the sat nav could solve the problem .Should be free to update mine is.
