This has probably been asked before but can anyone recommend a good sat nav app for Android? I don’t need a separate device as the runs are to designated depots but I just need an app in case of diversions en route. Thanks!
Google maps is best have used other apps are a little glithy that I have tried unless it’s for specific hgv restrictions in which case its specfic satnav or just use a proper physical hgv map and the mk1 eyeball.

Some people rate Co-Pilot but never tested it myself. There are many others, but most seem to be missing crucial data or are using stolen / out of date maps.
You could just use Google maps, but it won’t show bridges and weight limits on the diversions which of course councils don’t mark until you’re 500 yards away and can’t turn round.
I do night trunking usually to the same 6 depots and still have one of those fancy machines (although bought it prior to this job), as mass diversions at night are guaranteed and not all are suitable for high trucks or even properly marked.
I used Sygic…but you pay.
It works…but it will send you down questionable roads if you miss a turn.
Having said that so does my Tom Tom truck…
Never sent me to a low bridge though.
Stopped using it as it was awful at motorway exits that had 2 split lanes. Keep right keep right…turn left!!!

I use Place Marker, it maps out the drops and shows you where they are placed, you just click on them and away you go. Can add up to 25 addresses on list. And its free!!!
I use Google maps as a backup but I have the bridge heights also displayed in Google maps.
