Oh, I agree. Iām just surprised that someone who seems to be so āintoā the industry and the trucking culture would risk everything in that manner.
As said in vosaās report, sandy kydd probably created a niche market by undercutting the competition, knowing full well that the mileage involved could not be done legally. Good riddance

All you O/Dās out there - might be one or two all singing all dancing Scaniaās going cheap soon.
Good riddance to cowboys and their bloody rate cutting!
Got to say I was surprised at first, but then recalling some of the stunts Iāve heard about this outfit pulling in heresay, not really .
More work for the rest of us!
bet it gets "new owner/operator " before long and carry on as normal. seems thats the way some firms carry on but will also need a fresh set of drivers
you moan about a uk haulier cutting rates, but anybody say anything about the east eu firms and drivers in the uk you are classed as a racist if you do,ok good another uk cowboy bites the dust, now lets get the other situation in order, cheap east eu labour.
On the surface their kit always looked good, but as always its whats underneath that really counts.I found it to be a very sad story.
Hes lost it before and came back and will do it again⦠Night & Day = The Only Way.
All show no dough trying not to generalise but like many a firm with big posh moters. What have you got to do to keep them? Do we not work enough Hrs in a day without having to run bent.?

I know someone that rang the office midweek to see about prices
Breedy.
He obviously knew what was coming as he recently cancelled an order for a new V8 which was then bought by D stevens of wick.
He recently did acquire a 620! If he doesnt go under someone elses name I reckon keep an eye on Moodys website for these Scanias for sale.
taking in to account that this was posted on thursday morning why did i pass two of them heading south on m6 today ?
didnt he more or less pack up a couple of years ago and some of the drivers bought the trucks to run under his name and he was just supplying the work or have i just made that up for some reason definately remember something
