Hi there, asking on behalf of me dad (barcelona_karl), he wanted to know if anyone knows anywhere good for parking the weekend in Salzburg, Austria, or very near it?

Parking at Walserberg - Germany / Austria borders that is place close to Salzburg
Walserberg Services are big and busy place - McDonald, Restaurant, Shell Garage, Hotel, Kebabs van, Mini Turks food shop which place are very popular for Turkish due Zollamt Customs Clearance centre
Both side services has small subway stairs connections to other side services
Don’t know other place may better or worse than this place i could think
Nip across the border to Freilassing in Germany and park up in the industrial estate.
Thence a 30 minute bus ride (No. 24) or train to the centre of Salzburg (or a 12km bike ride if you are thus equipped).
Beats trying to find somewhere to park in Salzburg itself
