Going by the X registration plate on the Travis & Arnold truck, the brochure would be from around 1981.
We’ve had Berliet brochures before, but this one features a nice interior shot, so thought it was worth posting.
dm7301:
Have you got a UK Daf brochure from '82 with a 2800 on the cover registered RDP305Y?Thanks,
Darren
Sorry Darren, can’t find anything.
What livery was the truck in?
Maybe a British Eagle is okay after the American one…
Is this readable… I noticed that the letters looked very small on my computer screen.

Nice one Stellan. I know which one i’d sooner be driving!
By the way, I used the ‘zoom’ facility on my laptop, and the print is still readable.
It shouldn’t be necessary to magnify the text to be able to read it… maybe this size is better.

On older brochures, the front cover was often artwork, rather than photographic.
Heres a typical one from BORGWARD.
gb1, the Bernard you were interested in was the Type TDA 160-35 Tractor, engine 6 cylinder Bernard type M.F. 630 or M.F. 636 fuel injection, of 12.1 litres (630) or 13.248 litres (636). BHP 165 or 185. Overall length 19ft 8in or 20ft 8ins. Width 8ft 2in, Height to top of cab 8ft 11.5 in. Turning circle 51ft or 55ft 9in, Wheelbase 11ft 2in or 12ft 5.5in. Track 6ft 5.5in(front), 6ft 1in(rear). Fuel tank capacity 88 gallons. There were also rigid versions with the same cab.
Hope this helps, Franky.
Thanks Franky. I’ve been scouring a few French ‘flea-markets’ this year in the hope that I could find a brochure, but i’ve
been unsuccessful so far.
Persistance will hopefully pay off though.
Maybe someone knows anything about this vehicle? It seems to be a terminal tractor, using only for this purpose… and it looks very French, but who has built it?

The brochure is from Belgian Railways, so that would lead me to think that the vehicle is either a MOL or LATIL.
I can’t tell if that’s a badge above the number-plate.
Autotransit:
I hope this information sheet from 1975 could be of some interest, and maybe someone can tell us more about this vehicle…/Stellan
As a follow-up to your post Stellan, I found this. Hope it might be of interest.
Following-on from this that appeared elsewhere - the French WILLEME/BMC
This is the Spanish version - the SAVA/BMC
Were there any other versions elsewhere in the world?
This is the best picture I can find in the brochure. It´s almost impossible to see the badge, but could it be a MOL?
I was very surprised when I found this information sheet in my archive, I didn´t know that BMC still existed as a truck manufacturer…
