Bernard-Mack TD 211 with Mack engine and gearbox, hub reduction rear axle from Bernard.

Bernard-Mack EFT 35 with Geneve cab which was also used by Unic as ‘SAVIEM’ told us before.

Renault with horizontal engine.

Saviem with Perkins 6-354 engine 1967.

Willeme ‘Sahara’ special.

Evening all, michel, those are great brochures to own, thank you for sharing with us! I always loved those artist drawn images like the S7/8 Saviem, and the Renault “lazy” ones. Far more atmosphere than any photograph. And the clever touch of showing the rear end of a Renault 16, to denote the Saviem parentage, as well as the Saviem bus. Did many, many miles in a Renault 16TL, what a superb long distance car, like driving a mobile armchair!

Sadly, (in my personal opinion), the Americans lost both the stylish lines, and the quality image of Bernard, when they produced the TD211, but they still drove well. Cheerio for now.

Renault ‘Galion’ which could have Renault benzin engine or Perkins 4-192.Later it was a Alfa-Romeo Diesel .

Perkins engine for Renault Galion.

The famous Renault cabover van.
