Sad news indeed. RIP Kay.

Sad news at anytime, but particularly this time of year…RIP

Another of the “Old school” gone. She was a lovely lady and an example to all who met her.

Very sad news, did a lot of shows with Kate in the 80’s. On the CB she was Pink Lady, as well as other things but I used to call her Mum.

No problem mate, I havent been on the site for years and was shocked to see Kays passing  as I used to see her up and down the M6 and often in crick truckstop seems way back now but suppose it is :unamused:

Was Kay related to Irene who used to run the Halfway at Tern Hill…or did I make that up :open_mouth: in my head, it was a few years ago…

Hell, how long has the Halfway been a chip shop…long time since it was a wooden shack, and had a little Irish chap (Tommy) do the cooking…not quite a chef

Any way…sorry to hear the news…
