In that case give them a go. It’s a foot in the door and the Belgian trunk work did seem a piece of ■■■■, and wouldn’t look shabby on a CV. (Re avatar - still makes me smirk)

Think he’s a new driver all he’s bothered about it the truck and being away no mention of wages which should be the main thing to ask
I would imagine they are the same as per this post
Big ■■■■:
The chap i spoke to Andrew donnelly seemed i nice chap. The wages are £265 per week basic 5 days plus percentage of the jobs you do plus n/out
If you dont tip or collect a load on a sat or sun you dont get paid just for driving
I said thanks for your time but no thanks
As that sounds similar to what i got told about the wages, And if they do have a other work than the Belgium job then it’s all given to there other drivers or it’s very thin on the ground,
The do not pay back expenses and parking.
my old mans been there 10 plus years… on a old 52 plate FH doing uk work… used to do 2 belgiums a week and befour that italy spain work… like he says its not the best job out there but it pays the morgage and the bills… everyones got their own opinion on firms good or bad… you could have a brand new wagon and get paid 500 a week for minimum work and home every night and some people will find holes with that… if you dont try something you never know… its easier togo from a job to a job than from the dole que to a job
