Ryan transport cardiff southwales

hi all, any information or old photos of the ryan transport fleet, i can remember magirus deutz eight wheel tippers and low loaders that were covering most of south wales in the 70’s and 80’s running coal from they’re coal recovery site’s to cwmbargoed sidings, i had a lot of photos, but have mislaid them.

before they were in cardiff they were in caerphilly opposite fc brookes yard north view terrace my mother worked for them they really looked after her when she had lukiemia till she died fair play to them few drivers names mervyn samualls dai edwards dillwyn clash jim cully memory fading regards rowland

I remember loading duff from them years ago in Cardiff docks, I think we took it to Chinnor Cement.

Hi, i seem to remember my grandfather telling me that duff was what was dredged out the bottom of the slurry lagoons but i did not know it could be used for anything else,then it was a long time ago so i could be wrong. regards Rich.

Don’t know where it came from but they burnt it, we took it to power stations as well.
