The really tragic bit about all these stories, is that the drivers who tell you them actually believe it Naivety comes in many forms…And lorry drivers think they are the mutts
I had the tow bays either side story told to me yet again a couple of weeks ago and I said with authority “BS”…The actual word(Cant put it on here :unamused: ) The driver just carried on telling it. I said, "yer couldnt make it up could you" Whilst I was laughing They are a bloody sorry lot these story tellers!
Maybe just a thought but could some of these so called story tellers just be wind up merchants …

From Berlin? That’s possible… My best time from Dunkerque ferry port to Hungary (about same distance) was 13 hrs…

When i first did class 1 tramping, I was at an RDC talking to a driver about my next delivery, I said I going to morrisons at Wakefield, he said, “you’ll be fine in and out no time, last time a was there it took me 20 minutes in and out”. as I was leaving I noticed a wee smile from the driver and thought could he be having me on.
Well got there and low and be hold 4 hours later 
I left the said morrisons and thought what a nice guy , If I see him again I have something to say,well would you believe it, saw the aforementioned driver next day, he saw me and I sat down and said “cheers mate for the info was in and out in 20 minutes just like you said, there was a very nice bunch of lads down there”, I told them what you said and there said “yes mate we good here” the look on his face was priceless.

Who knows? My bests: Tosco Livingstone (14 pallets)18 min, Tosco Daventry 2 (Royal Oak) full load 30 mins…
