Rotterdam Europoort Parking

Here is an updated map of the places you can park or drop trailers, even the cloggies are probably getting a bit ■■■■■■ about Pavlek and Aloysius dumping on their tulips.

and cue the thunderous drums and fanfares to accompany the arrival of Orys with 37 pages of crap to tell the Dutch they too are wrong

Off the topic, but by booking a hostel in Rotterdam or the Hague, you can save a lot of money, you can get a train to Amsterdam avoiding the price hike for the tourists, and large business man hotel are empty in the weekend and you can get good deals, and offers on the food menu,to keep the staff going.
You can take a boat trip to see the port, and get metres away from the worlds largest super tankers and container ships, there is a historic walking tour in the city to see as well.

Does anyone else now read Orys essays in the voice of Pavel from the Archers? They seem as bad as each other.

In Belgium too…My old boss has 15 trucks & In 2007 all the drivers were Belgian (Yes, me Included).

Today there are: 3 Belgian, 7 Polish & 5 Slovaks.

When I worked there the Tractor units, Trailers & Drag’s were In a very good condition. Now they’re bashed to ■■■■ :frowning: :frowning: … The carnage Is unbelievable…

Answer me this you guys that ship in/out of europort. When i shipped into e/port10+yrs ago as you came out of the port and turned left you ran a short distance to the junc with the n15[i think].On the junc there was a cafe with limited parking, very good if i remember rightly,is it still open.

then again by replacing a belgian driver with a slovak, the savings are more than enough to pay the lease on an extra truck.

Yes there is a cafe there, beside the firestation. Parking is down a ramp right on the canalside, just after the bridge carrying the N15 over the canal. I don’t know if its open, but it doesn’t look abandoned.
There are two more small cafes, at Boetlek (sp?). One is on your right, from the N15, about a km before the junction. It has a Dutch company fuel pumps and a fair sized parking area. The other is on the opposite side just past the junction, it’s tucked away in trees. There are cafe signs on the N15 as you approach this junction. Those are the only small ones I know.
You can see them all on Google maps. The little one tucked in the trees is two small circular buildings, the one with fuel is square with a bright blue tiled roof

The Pioneer is very good for food not been for a bit but you can get a shower there and free wyfi.only problem is that it shuts a weekends so if you park at weekend/no facilities. Not like it was years ago when there would be 20 or more English trucks waiting to fire off on Sunday night.Stopped there sum time ago neva sore a Brit all weekend.P.S the internet connection does not work out side of the Pioneer Restraunt

We’d already established where the Pioneer is, that it’s still operating, that the food is good, that it’s on the left and it’s parking is on the right down a ramp.

The post you are correcting isn’t about the Pioneer at all, it’s about a place called De Punt. De Punt is a bit further on, when you have come off the Hull boat.
