Ria

Saw Ron today, along with Zippy and Geordie, down in the flying J in Fargo. Poor Geordie and Matt didn’t look so well. Must be the US water!

In fact, Geordie really looked like he had come down with some sort of virus.

Obviously, Ron was looking very chipper and enthusiastic, and eventually manged to instill some life into the others.

Hi
I was speaking to Ron this morning,I hope he doesn’t catch a virus and bring it home to us.
He is looking forward to his trip and the sites he will see,no doubt he will have plenty of photos to show us when he comes home.
Mrs Rocket(maybe I should change this to Mrs Rocket as user name,I’m on it more than Ron  )

hi mrs rocket
glad to hear everything is goin ok for yourself & the family, like to know how ron got on takin his tests, what he found easy and hard like the air brake test, suppose when he gets chance he will update us all…and yourself plenty of pics of were u r living & surrounds & bit of a dairy of your own experiences, im trying to convince my missus to give it a go, if she sees & reads some good feedbak might just convince her

Hi Jako
Ron said it was a lot to learn for the air brake test him and his mates went through lots of painkillers cos there was a lot to take in. I will get him to email you when he gets back,to tell you a bit more detail,I believe they changed the air brake test just last week so it is different from what Ron learnt.
I myself had a bit of trouble changing my licence to a Manitoban one cos i had the old paper licence, they said they couldn’t change it cos i needed the photo card, I never had one,but the lady in the insurance office phoned somewhere else and they said I needed form D737 from DVLA to confirm my licence details, then when i went back with the form the guy on the other end of the phone said he had never heard of it(it was starting to look like I might have to go for a test myself) but thankfully they sored it out and now I have my manitoban licence, just have toget use to driving on the wrong sideof the road
Well I’m looking out the window and the snow is coming down thick and fast.
I shall have to go the kids will be coming home now and the dog likes to meet them off the school bus.
I’ll be back later take care speak soon
