Robbers in the orange groves

Back in the 90`s it was common for the cab to get turned over while reversing on to a bay or while the driver was getting the paper work signed in the office.
Mainly in the Castelon and Valencia area, the theif or theives would never be seen in the act, they were like ghosts and vanish, no speeding car in the dust.
The issue was that they were “sin papels,” or no papers= no passport or Id cards, as they were illegals from Northern Africa and beyond and were living in the orange groves and robbing to get food.
I once heard a driver had his private parts ball bag ruptured when in a confrontation with them, the common ploy was to distract the driver by saying something was on fire or a puncture, you walk away to investigate while his accomplice emptied your cab.
I once went to brush my teeth in a garage, back at the truck an old ambulance was by the cab, with an Arabic looking man asking me if i had another driver in my cab, i was alone.
I had been done, a bit of cash, passport still there, the odd thing was i saw the ambulance coming the other way about 3 hours driving from the garage.

Think i"ll down a few more, then read that again.
Might make more sense :bulb:

All I understood was Ball Bag

I got you loud + clear there Tobe, but time on the road has told me. ALWAYS lock your cab when in the back even to close the doors, and should someone start talking to you , immediatley be cautious. Not been had yet.
