DAF’s are the best - simples.
A simple answer, have you ever checked the fifth wheel has some grease on it

Give me a MAN over the Scania we have any daySounds like brokeback mountain but with truck drivers
That would be Brokeback Motorway then

Yes Daf all the way, all the way onto the hard shoulder!. Never late with a V8!
depends on how big the diesel tank is cos you will have to stop and keep filling them up
you don’t buy a V8 scania and then have to worry about fuel figures
I know what you mean dotty boy, you can throw a Scania around like no other lorry, an FH driven the same way feels like it’s going to fall off the road, Mercs have too light steering & feel vague, MANs I just don’t like, Dafs ain’t too bad, Renaults are just nasty, a Magnum wobbles around & a Premium is far too stiff at the back, the only thing that would give a Scania a run for it’s money is a Stralis.
Now I’m not talking about driving it like I’ve stolen it, but a Scania with the retarder has got to be the fastest (sticking to the speed limits) point to point lorry there is, the reason is because it feels so much safer in the twisty bits, but given that not every moment of the day is spent getting my knee down in a roundabout I’d take a Megaspace Merc or a SSC Daf over a Scania anytime
