David Wilson aka DJ sadly died with returning to the Fly By Nite yard after finishing a tour with slipknot.
Dads health deteriorated at the end of the tour, he lost lots of weight and did things out of character like not been at the front of the convoy.
He was made to pull over and told no more driving! A call was made from another driver to office and a driver was sent over to Hamburg to drive him home.
Some stories differ from person to person after that moment but basically following orders to “get him to the yard”, him staying in the cab on ferry, to couldn’t walk unaided, drinking coffee and sticking his toe in drivers ear he the dies in bed in his truck. Cold to the touch at he arrives at the yard.
My dad could have still been alive today, but no the world has lost a good man!
