I’m sorry to bring you this news. Andy was a very experienced transport man and made many valuable contributions to this forum. Many of us on here have enjoyed his books and his company. A lovely chap. RIP Andy.

I sort of recognise his face but did he have a username on here?
Spardo he was Jazzandy he wrote a couple of books about the Middle East run.

When Andy had his books published he asked for some of his stuff to be deleted from TN, so it may not be on here any more; but it will be in one of his books

I am in the middle of re-reading Fifty shades of tarmac, for the third time in as many years. A cracking read. There is bits in the book which I had read on the forum some years ago when posted by Andy.
