RHA is it worth joining

They are wrong - you can only legally use RHA Conditions of Carriage is you are a paid up member of the RHA. Think about it logically, whhy would the RHA bother to create the industry standard and then allow non-members to use it? It would giving away a perk of membership, making less people likely to join. If you run under RHA Conditions and find you want to shelter under those Conditions if it goes Pete Tong, you will find the Conditions invalid.

Why do you think you are right more than the brokers?

Can anybody check t & c’s in the insurance policy on the rha conditions please?(does it say anything regarding being the member of the rha)

As per Rikki’s link.

thanks for replies.

well, what in case when RHA’s conditions are matched ? (asking as i would rather buy a decent tyre than paying for full RHA membership…

I was never a member, as like others I did not think they had much to offer the small man, but they did approach me now and again. On the last occasion, there was a new rep in the south-west, an Irishman. He said that they should be able to save me the membership fee in insurance premiums. So armed with my renewal date, he went off to tell their pet insurer to call me.
Now it happened that I already had my G I T policy with this company, so when their man phoned me, he said existing customer that’s 10% straight away, we should be on a winner here, so he asked all the usual questions and said he would call me in a couple of days with a quote. He called back a few days later, very embarrassed, he was very sorry, but his company was not able to provide cover for livestock vehicles. Good one that, considering they were already insuring the livestock in the back. So sadly, as a result, I never got to enjoy the benefits of RHA membership, so I could not offer an informed opinion, but I managed without for 25 years or more.
