That’s absolutely stunning!! Would trade any wagon for one of these 141’s anyday there both a credit too you both have turned out really well

I bought this Commer TS3 tipper in 2001 from a man in the Forest of Dean, it was mechanically sound and I drove it home with out any problems, I painted it in my company colours over the winter months but didn’t take any pictures, I have rallied it ever since, I even won a cup for the vehicle that travelled furthest to get to an event when in 2003 I did The Cornish Coastal Run, it never missed a beat, although it was a long way to come home in the rain with no wipers working, the fuse kept blowing and was eventually traced to one wire shorting back to earth. All the family love going to local shows with the lorry and it has brought us all a great deal of enjoyment, it also makes many a person’s day to see or hear one of these lorries again, a sit in the seat again can make some old driver really happy. The next vehicle to come out of my shed will be a Thames Trader but this is not finished yet, I will hopefully get this project finished for Spring 2013.

F R Coyles & Sons. The first foden I’m told is the only one of it’s kind in this country. Whether that statement is 100% true I’m not sure, but until someone shows me otherwise I’ll consider it to be fact

Cheers

Not a restoration to a massive standard but just a usable condition. i enjoy shows and road runs but this lorry has to be handy as well, ive layed 25 tonnes of tarmac on my drive, stored logs, weighed scrap in, excavated land i bought and many other household tasks like gutting the upstairs render out of the window straight in to the back.
