hi not sure if im doing this right, last week i was tramping 3 nights out
i had 2 9 hrs rest 1 11hrs rest , can you have reduced rest 9 hrs 3 times a week or 3 time every two weeks , otherwise 11 hrs minimum rest.

The week is irrelevant. When was your last weekly rest period, before of after you did the 2x9’s?

hi mate, i work 5 days a week worked 3 hrs sunday sat off , had 3 9 hr min rests last week,
i usually work 5 days a week have sat off worked 3 hrs sunday, but this weekend and next weekend i won,t work as they normally alternate them. not away this week tramping upto now
i thought you could do 3 9 hrs min rest a week but told only 3 hrs min rest in 2 weeks, but like i say i work 5 days a week upto 15 hrs a day.

It’s not per week, it’s between weekly rest periods.
When you start work after a weeky rest you can do 3x9’s until your next weekly rest. Complete that weekly rest and you can do another 3.
You could do six in a week. Start Monday after weekly rest. Do 9’s Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Rest Thursday and do 9’s Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
If you normally work Monday to Friday each week you can do a reduced rest of 9 hours on 3 of those days every week. However told you it only 3 per two weeks is an idiot.

you coffeeholic thats great, thats why i come on the forum to ask and learn from you,s experts
there was a driver last week who has drove for 15 yrs and asked me how long can you drive before break, it amazes me, then another one said he has 30 min break then 15 min i said its illegal your second break has to be 30 minimum thanx mate for rest periods i thought because i have sunday off and most of sat i could do 3 x 9hr minimum rests a week that other driver told me you can only do it every 2 weeks well thanx to you he,s wrong
remember that there only 11 hour’s rest if you have done 13hours of work or less !!!

thanx mate , what exactly is weekly rest if i work approx 65 hours in 5 days say 3 hrs on a sunday, got rest of sunday off and all sat off
