Think with your extended break you need 8 hours from Midnight or start back at 01.45.

if you have done any inscope driving between 0800 and 16.45 you cannot start work until you have had a minium 9 hr break which means you cannot start work again till 0145 tomorrow morning. so there is no way you can start again at 23.00 :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :confused: :confused:

we dont run on taco as we are excempt and tm is going on wtd .sounds daft but just not sure were i stand on this :blush: :blush: :blush:

Cant be done mate, do you work for yourself or did your company do this schedule?

company

I take it you had 15 minutes on your day shift.

Your night shift does no require a break as its only 6 hours, 15 if you go over.

Not sure if what your doing is o/k excempt or not, Tachograph will be the best to ask I should think.

You can opt out of the 10 hour rule.

Ah, cheers for the info.

drain work ,sewage… im a bit lost as tm said about rest time in 24 hrs ie 0000 hrs monday till 0800 hrs tues then rest from 1645 hrs to 2300 hrs so that is 13.45hrs rest in 24 hrs

Its 24 from when you sign in surely, so its 08.00 to 08.00 in your case.

Sounds like Domestic rules.

Daily duty
In any working day the maximum amount of duty permitted is 11 hours. A driver is exempt from the daily duty limit (11 hours) on any working day when he does not drive.
A driver who does not drive for more than 4 hours on each day of the week is exempt from the daily
duty limit.

Drivers of certain vehicles are exempt from the duty but not the driving limit, namely — goods vehicles,
including dual purpose vehicles, not exceeding a maximum permitted gross weight of 3.5 tonnes,
when used:

by doctors, dentists, nurses, midwives or vets;

for any service of inspection, cleaning, maintenance, repair, installation or fitting;

so if i do the shift and finish at 0500 on wed when should i start my next shift :blush: :blush: :blush: :blush: :blush:

Looks like you can only drive for an hour tonight, sorry but its all over my nut now.

PM coffeholic or tachograph with the link to this thread if Wheelnut cant help.

Dear oh dear, how times change eh?

Honestly mate, I wouldn’t be too worried if you’re new to it. You can always honestly say you were confused and following the advice of your manager.

Your work sounds quite unusual so you might get a more relevant solution from other peeps at your place.

Good luck with it! :slight_smile:

Never knew “polish” waste bothered with breaks ?
