Renault T range. Is it the most ugly truck in a long time

What is it with their daft idea of painting the locker door a different colour? Just make it look like its an unsprayed replacement

And it’s a different colour to the front grill by looks of it so doesn’t even “go” with that  And them wheel trims look hideous on alloys. You should have shiny rings to match or at least painted ones :stuck_out_tongue:

out of the two iv’e driven this week neither of them have that grey plastic thing on. in fact the lockers either side are quite large and one single metal unit.i haven’t got a clue what that grey bit is unless its to stop damage when being delivered.

Possibly, when cars are delivered they look like they are wrapped in a condom, yet they take it all off prior delivery.

T Range for U.K market has no trim under the locker

L.H.D Flat floor T Range has

Steve

Are they not both left hand drive? They both have no kerb mirror on the ‘passenger’ door? And the front kerb mirror looks to be on the right side of the visor.

The photos are just for comparison - As you rightly say they are both L.H.D but it shows Standard and High Cabs so you can see the “extension” under the locker door on the High Cab.
I should have made it clearer

I’m likely to be shot down, but I quite like it. least it looks a bit different. yet to see one in the metal though.

i personally dont think renault make a decent looking truck for a fleet truck i suppose you would be stupid to write em off but as for styling for me there just plain ugly

I saw one of Mark Doel’s new Renault’s on the A13 on Monday.

It was only a quick look.

I didn’t like it.

Yep, Ugly !

They look like they’re Unhappy about Something. Lol.

Ive seen 4 this week, and they look worse than the photos regardless of what colour they are painted, definatly the worst looking motors on the road.

The one I saw looked unhappy, closely followed by me after seeing it.

I have seen a few now, not very nice looking at all, quite aggressive looking, yet at the same time kind of vacant…Like a Neanderthal
You can definitely see the Volvo in them though.

Carl:

I quite like the look of that one, but as a fleet truck with no fancy paint job to disguise the hideous lines its an awful looking truck.

The great thing about the Magnum was that it was actually an innovative piece of design, which adressed a lot of the problems associated with conventional truck design. These new things, as well as looking like they’re made of Lego, are just conventional trucks, no more or less. I find that disappointing; I’d have preferred them to take the best bits of the old Magnum and build on them.
