But who is now going to do the work they did?
What did they do?
I thought it was mainley produce/foodstuffs from NI to Tescos and the like?

 Lot of pre-cast concrete as well. Also groupage

Rumour mill has it theat Montys have been sniffing around them since they started having cashflow issues a few months ago

Sad news, 200 people losing their jobs espec at this time of year.

Noticed the M6 was quiet tonight heading north at 1am on the Reid front, only saw two trucks tonight and one was just a unit with no trailer.

Seen them hauling Boots trailers, thought they had some kinda deal with Christian Salveston as well.

No more “wacky races” on the A75 then :exclamation: :exclamation:
There will be a few “chipped” trucks in the Autotrader then as quite a few subbies have their trucks in Reid Transport colours I’m let to believe.
I wonder did that rally car take a pile of dough to run
Sad to see this happen to families so close to Christmas. :frowning:

Yes I agree.

Very bad news that drivers and the office staff have lost their jobs, however!!!

Reid’s Transport drivers and sub contractors are/were to blame for some very bad driving on the A75. Drivers must remember that if they crash and kill someone or die they may never have to worry about a job again.

Kill someone whilst driving dangerously- go to jail.

Die never get back home to your family.

I hope all of Reid’s staff and their sub contractors find new employment.

If you do please take your time on the A75.
