how many hours do i need continuous in my day to make a 9 hour rest not a reduced rest?
is it 3 or 4? if you get what i mean

If you mean the split daily rest then it’s 3 consecutive hours rest during the shift and then 9 consecutive hours rest after the shift making 12 hours rest in total.
As always the 9 hours rest has to be within the 24 hours from start of shift.
