if the boss or the client ring you to ask what time you are arriving the sat nav will tell you,and handy for driving times and planning a place to park up,so you can plan what time to get tipped or loaded by.

Or look at the distance you have to go and work it out.
About 80 kmh on autobahn/autoroute/whatever plus a bit extra to allow for getting through town. Simple enough.

But maps don’t have TMC and sat navs do, so they consider troubles on the road. It works so-so in UK, but in Germany for example it works perfect. My ETA with traffic info considered never differed more than 10-15 minutes.

I was very pro-old school and I bought my first sat nav only when I started driving allover Europe… I am not saying that its impossible without it, but it’s easier and better (if you don’t switch your brain out after switching sat nav on).

Things have changed over the years and they are a lot more strict now then what they used to be and also the fines are a lot bigger. For the sake of a few hundred quid a sat nav is worth it i think
The Snooper S7000 has an ADR route feature to use in Europe.
