There were several books but they were all “accidentally” destroyed in an unfortunate series of incidents from accidental fires to a flooded basement  :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

Bizarrely always happened just before the ministry came a calling :open_mouth: :stuck_out_tongue:

While the authorities in Cheltenham were stretching their resources chasing Ralph a certain Mr Fred West was getting away with murder.Thats the book they ought to write.

   mean books to read

Cheers JD i’ll give that book a miss  thanks for letting me know mate

I’ve just read it. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Probably helps if you have a bit of insight before reading it tbh. But I thought it was well written and really quite accurate. A couple of the “war stories” have the wiff of bs but otherwise yeh it’s on the money.

skipped a good few pages with the book , to much info about the old silk road before the dawn of time  … but passed a few hours reading it ,
