Please Help,
My dad passed away a few months back and I’m looking for photos of his old work, R & J Strang. My dad worked there for 28 years. I was alway with him working in the summer holidays when I was a boy in the late 70’s to 80’s. His name is Billy Leckie.
The last lorry he drove there was the Leyland Marthon 2. It was the only one in the yard.
Any pictures would be great.

I actually mind of this lorry with the box. (Showing my age) The ERF lorry which is preserved. Do you know who owns it or a link to any web sites of pictures. I managed to find on google images but its a small picture.

Try this link below, never remembered anything like this , as you, I spent my summer holidays in the cab with my dad. My dad has a couple of pictures of his wagons, mabey look at trying to put them on here. One was an Albion and the other was a Leyland clydesdale. If I can help drop me a “pm”

Hi here a couple of Clydesdales an Albion with the regulation cardboard for the added comfort of heat in the winter and a newer Leyland out of bathgate!
