I’ve just had my medical and filled out my d4/d2. Do I include my actual plastic card driving license with the forms and can I still drive while they have my license?
Any helps appreciated.
I’m almost certain you don’t need to send your photocard license to DVLA.
You can keep driving even if you do need to send your photocard away though.
On another note, make sure you tick all the provisional entitlements on the D2 form, for LGV and PCV. You never know if you may need them in future and you won’t need to apply again.

Send both forms and your photocard driving licence to DVLA. There’s no application fee.

I read somewhere there’s no extra fee so to just tick all of them incase you’re interested in the future.

C & D covers the lot but there is no harm done in ticking them all unless some numpty at the DVLA messes it up and gives you the lowest category only
