Why would you need to trawl through 12 pages, your one of the designated mods in that area. Surely you dont leave us alone to our own devices and only pop in on rare occasions.
Just kiddin I realise you have better things to do but would you perhaps consider a minor bit of post editing and perhaps bringing the thread back for a trial run as ive lost my copy of Dan Punchards missus…

If u look at the thread I admitted I over stepped the mark. I didn’t do it again. I may have pushed a couple of boundaries but didn’t go thro them. Some liked my posts some didn’t. The mods took the side of the emotionally scared and dropped the thread. No biggy. I’m sure they’ve got plenty of wrist action material in that top locker. I’ve apologised b4 and I’ll do it again. None of us objected to your pics in real terms, I n fact I was one of those that initially said the first wsrning was a bit ott, but then you ignored it …after your apology and carried on until you ■■■■■■ it up.

The title ‘keyboard warrior’ springs to mind doesn’t it? Usually people who would run away if they were challenged in real life, or wouldn’t gob off in the first place.
There’s ways of expressing criticism in a constructive way, I know not everyone finds it easy to get their point across but by christ I there’s some handbag users on here!
As soon as you posted the OP robroy you told the trolls that they’re successfully getting under your skin, which is exactly their intention.
As Mike said, we’ve all been a knob at some time or another on here and plenty of us have ruined a thread by carrying on a petty argument, but in some cases it has made a thread better. I’m guilty of setting carryfast off on one, it usually brings out a lot more sensible posts from people trying to shut him up with facts. I’ve been accused of being carryfast by quite a few people on here, both in threads and via PM, I can assure you that I’m not!
You have to remember that it’s just the Internet and the posters that seek to derail a thread have issues in their real life and this is why they act as they do on the Internet. The written word is also easily misinterpreted as there is no tone to it and something intended as harmless can easily be read as an insult.

Yeh you’re right mate, I just got a bit ■■■■■■ that a fun type thread was being binned by one who’s only intention was to ■■■■ it while the rest of us were having a laugh. I do have a tendency to speak up when a d/head starts performing it has got me in a lot of aggro in real life also
Been there done that mate, I’ve been in the thick of some legendary bust ups on here, at one point a few of us were going at it that hard that we got one of the forums shut down completely, but now I’ve seen the light.
