Question about 3 hour break and spread

neil1024:
Is this old terminology…

Yes.

Once again thank you. Yes - ahem - of course I meant 3+9  and I understand the difference between ‘per week’ and ‘between two consecutive weekly rest periods’.

Herro again, thanks for that but I chose to stay in bed today
Now then I started at 0645 so had 11 off, I know if I work over 15 today it automatically counts as a reduced rest so can I have 9 off tonight and resume tomorrow for my last 13?
I know I should probably understand it more but this tramping job I’m a lot busier and my brain can’t seem to cope with stuff that used to seem so simple

On a side note do you know the fine for doing more then 90 hours driving over two weeks is? Or is it not enforced like the 48 hour working week isn’t? I’ve only got 8.5 hours left till my 90 is up and planners had me down for a 500 mile round trip starting tonight so I’ve had to refuse and lose out on overtime :frowning:

me thinks you got that bit wrong

if you work over 15 hours, you are breaking the law

i know it is more than likely a typo, but there are other members on here asking similar questions, and if they see this post uncorrected, they might think it legal to work more than 15 hours in a day, in much the same way that you are asking these questions
