It just needs attaching to metal panelling so maybe try it on the body work around the bunk somewhere underneath the lining,as long as the magnet attaches I’d imagine it will be fine…probably just says roof as that’s the only place on a car that’s accessible.

Either stick it to the pillar or to the side panel behind the door . Not sure how much wiring you get with it

It needs to attach to the metal body to provide a RF ground. You can just use a thin bit of wire or a thin bit of foil a foot/35cm long and it’ll do the job.

It’ll still work without that, just not as well but chances are being fitted in a lorry nice and high up you most likely won’t notice any difference except in fringe coverage areas.

Just remember that the DAB signal is vertically polarised so where ever you put the aerial, just make sure the whip is vertical (or near as)
If the aerial is horizontal, you will get about 20dB of losses (1/100 th of the signal)

u can get ones that stick to the windows.i got a pioneer DAB unit which came with a stick on ariel does job well just that some areas of uk the signal is not good.but i dont care minute or so with out it is not a problem

Try this.
