With the weather getting warmer,does anyone have a favourite pool,to use when weekended.A few around the conurbations of Madrid.And in small villages all over the country.The route from Teruel to Pamplona,cant think of the town,but seen a few on that road.
if you come south from irun to vitoria on n1 park in truckstop at alsasua and walk into town theres a nice leisure centre and good bars and plenty shops and banks
one outside pool at valdepenas on the a4
outside pool at valdemoro on a4 south of madrid
fuengirola water park right next to a7 and plenty parking outside shopping centre across the motorway
torremolinos water park about 1km from a7 plenty parking behind on market site

Free to park obviously, when I asked for a shower they gave me a hotel room and when I asked them how much they looked at me as if I was mad, the food is excellent, and typical Spanish hostal prices and best of all a beautiful “piscina” round the back
with a poolside bar where I spent all weekend doing “Cerveza Control”.
Good pool at Fuendejaleon,on right side going north on national 121,between Almunia de Goda and Magallon.Restaurant and large truck parking on left.Small town with big and many speed bumps.Sat nav doesnt show up a pool,for this town/village.
I posted somewhere else on this site about a sports club right outside General Motors in Zaragosa. I was weekended with a couple of Dorothy Bowmans and we got very slightly rat-arsed.
I got locked inside the complex so I nicked a moped and rode it round and round till someone saw me and let me out 
I always would make a trip to the Lido in any village in Germany, they don’t mind a fat trucker jumping in the green mouldy outdoor pools 
Anyone running along the costa del sol using the the coast road rather than the pay motorway, if you come off at the cabopino exit about halfway between Furngirola and Marbella there is a nice camp site called camping cabopino. There’s room to park just off the slip roads, and as long as your not too obvious you can just wander in and use either of the very nice pools. Very nice showers there year round too, but don’t tell too many people.

bypassed now, if so I used to stop there nearly every other weekend in the summer about 10 yrs ago on my way to or from Palmela…happy days

That sounds like the place, and the motorway is indeed brand-new, but the hostal is only 100 metres or so from the motorway exit.
Hi Welshboy, i’ve got a place down there. Just on the Estepona side of Marbella. Have been known to pop in to cabo when i use to drive down there though, the pools nice in winter and love the beach (is it Andys ?) there in summer.

OO ERR MISSUS that beach at cabopino is a nudist beach mainly frequented by men 
You must of found one i haven’t then. The beach just next to the marina certainly isn’t nudist and definatly isn’t all men, quite the opposite in fact.
you mean alberts at the port. you must be paid too much if you can afford to go down there
Don’t know if it’s called Alberts, but i like the chirinquito just as you walk down the slip road and then down the side of the apartment block where everyone parks there cars. I’ve eaten in most of the places in the port and i also like that bar in the square where they always have the football on.
