hi all, i have a pronav truck sat nav, between it being bashed around in my bag and squashed it a glove box its pretty much done for, i was wondering if i could buy a cheap (other make) unit and put the pronav sd card in, what type of unit would i have to buy? any ideas?

Baught a cheap Chinese one and a 350 upgrade, lol it running on there! Just copy navigator or mobilenavigator file on a ad card and set a path… it working well… Or put it on a 7 " tablet …
All Chinese run on wince6.0…
Best thing u can do… It running as well fleet10, beonroad, igo8; promav
Unwill find it on eBay…I payed for a 5" screen 43 pounds…
i bought one of those cheap chinese ones as well, connected it to the laptop and deleted the navigation software and installed igo3 for trucks , works perfect now

You can put it on a binaton but you need to produce a shell.ini
Open an editor
Put the path
\SDMMC\MobileNavigator\MobileNavigator.exe
In and save it as shell.ini ( namefield)
Put the shell in the root of your sd card together with pronav software
Look for a hidden file" preset" in the software
Open it with an editor and
Change GPS setting in
Com= 7
Baud=57600
Put card in binaton and run it
