My fault Nobby, sorry mate Started off on a Honda XL125 (it may have by pure accident have had the head replaced with a 185 ), then got my TZR. Passed my test and treated myself to a GSXR 250 RR. Enjoyed having a ’ proper motorcycle ’ at last
Next bike was a Kwak ZX7 R and then after that I got a Thunderace which I junked the EXUP system and had an Akrapovic system fitted. Miles lighter, handling improved and went/sounded ace
Then I didn’t bother with bikes for a few years until a mint FZR1000 RU came my way which I snapped up. It was my dream bike many years earlier when I got my TZR125.
Was going to post some thing on here but thanks to Nodding Donkey I’ve just spent the last hour or so watching TT videos. Can’t remember what I was going to post but who cares. Absolutely Brilliant not even in my dreams was I ever that good. My racing career last for two races and one of them didn’t end well. and they were just hill climbs.

Wish mine had only lasted that long, would’ve saved me a bloody fortune in wonga and a lot of implanted screws and plates!

No prob Beaver. Anything that reminds me of when I was young and stupid instead of middle aged and sensible

Sorry to hear about the injuries, if there had been a circuit near where I lived I would probably had a better go at racing, but a biggish bloke on a small bike, 250, up a steep hill was never going to work well.
Injuries ain’t too bad mate tbh. The plus side is that I look like a bona fida agency driver so I can easily be accepted into their conversations in RDC waiting rooms!
